Golam Mostofa is the Director of Project & Research at the Community Initiative Society (CIS) and a Trustee Member of the Dhaka Community Hospital Trust. He holds an MBA from Stamford University in Dhaka and has advanced academic qualifications, including an M. Com. in Management and specialized programs from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and Harvard School of Public Health. With over two decades of experience, Mostofa specializes in management, policy planning, research, and project implementation across public health, disaster management, and climate change. His leadership spans key international initiatives, including disaster management programs with the Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Management (A-PAD), Rohingya response programs with Peace Winds Japan and MERCY Malaysia, and collaborations with prestigious institutions like Harvard University and Oregon State University.
In addition to his core responsibilities, Mostofa has contributed to more than 30 international publications focusing on disaster management, public health, and environmental issues. He is also actively involved in training, capacity building, and promoting sustainable solutions to enhance community resilience. His professional expansion includes participating in workshops and conferences organized by Harvard University, Deakin University, and the University of Gothenburg, where he has made notable contributions to international symposia on humanitarian leadership and disaster management.
