Prof. Quamruzzaman’s work centers on the intersection of climate change, health, and disaster resilience, with a focus on how air quality and extreme weather events affect vulnerable populations. He actively engages in global health initiatives, participating in international conferences and workshops to promote climate adaptation and health resilience strategies. Domestically, he conducts health awareness campaigns and leads workshops on climate-smart healthcare practices throughout Bangladesh.

Additionally, he trains medical students and healthcare professionals in climate-resilient healthcare methods. Prof. Quamruzzaman has collaborated on numerous research projects with institutions such as Harvard University’s School of Public Health, Oregon State University, Boston Children’s Hospital, and others, as well as with international organizations like the Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Management (A-PAD), Peace Winds Japan, and Mercy Malaysia. These efforts exemplify his commitment to integrating research, education, and community action to address the health challenges posed by climate change.
